2008 Car Show :D
2008 Car Show :D I know Im posting this early....but I want everyone to be able to mark their calendars early and plan to be here for this show.
Usually we make a whole weekend out of hanging out and having fun. Friday night - dinner/bowling. Saturday the show... a bbq and party afterwards. Support a great cause and have fun doing it!
If you know of anyone or any business's that would be interested in donating or sponsoring a class or any items...please contact me!
info on the nearest hotel which is right off I-57 (Olympain Drive Exit) and its a straight shot to the show from there 10 or 11 stoplights and youre at the show.
if we can get 10 rooms booked they are:
Double - $52.00 + tax
Single - $40.00 + tax
Microtel inn 217-398-4136
if you are staying saturday evening after the show, we have a dinner/after party planned. I have booked 2 Limo's for those who may want to have a drink or two, so there doesnt have to be any driving to the resturant/bar where we have special party accomadations made. If you dont want to ride in the limo, obviously you can drive and there will be plenty of parking available for everyone to park. Where we will be going is 7 miles south of the location of the show. There will be food/drinks/karaokee/slot machines/games etc going on.

we have a fairly good amount of fbodies coming from the chicago area already and also have a few pre-registered from indiana. if i get enough pre-reg's for fbodies alone i make seperate classes. Also there is a best fbody award. best of shows are close to 7ft tall. 1st place are around 4ft tall.

since everyone decided they wanted to go 500 different directions, we're all eating at sonic and then some people are going to get their party on at one of the other fbody owner's apartments it seems. Some of us are just going to go chill either at my place or in tolono. I cancelled the limo's and everything because i couldnt justify spending the money when no one wanted to use them.

Yeah, I didn't go. I hate going alone, plus its hard as hell to load this POS by myself. Soon though.
