I don't check my gmail account that often. I'm definetely down for some drinky drinky. I've been good, immersed in my latest obsession:

Saving up to buy a 29' Scarab with twins right now.

I would ride a bicycle before buying a Nissan. But that's just me.

I don't care for any of the trucks on your list. My feelings are, if you plan to buy a truck go full sized. I'd pick a new Silverado before anything offered by Japan, inc., in the full sized market. If you don't like the Chevy styling, then look at the F-series stuff.

In response to the bicycle comment, any particular reason why? Just curious.

I'm not a big fan of the Titan, myself.

I have had a Canyon, Frontier both the current body's. You will hate the GMC. The motor is worthless. The Frontier was awesome but my highway mileage was 15 on average and that is not a joke. I just bought a new Toyota Tacoma TRD sport and it is by far my favorite. I have no complaints at all.

If I were to buy a new truck right now it would be the current GMC, Denali if I could swing the cash. Instead I will just keep my 04 Silverado(unless you want to buy it). Great truck IMO.
I personally dont like the looks of any of the trucks you listed. How the drawings of the GM trucks got past the design department is beyond me.
I also agree that it is FS or nothing at all. The fuel mileage is hardly any different unless you are driving a 4cyl 2wd. I would guess that a Frontier 4x4 Crew Vs a Titan 4x4 Crew is within a couple MPG.

You'd be right. But there is the added expense of buying a more expensive truck.

I have a colorado I like it but I wish I had a silverado. Well I will have it in a few days. I am buying a new silverado and I got almost 10,000 off you can not beat that. Good luck on finding a truck. My vote colorado on your list. Get a ext cab you will like it much better.

I would get a Silverado. Almost the same fuel economy 14/19 vs 15/21, they are more refined than the midsize P/U, have more room and can haul/tow way more. Also incentives are good because trucks aren't selling right now.

Since I work for GM I would never consider buying foreign, a F/S Ford P/U would be my 2nd choice.

If you are taking a loan out on it wait till you get the house, the less debt you have when you get your house the more money you will get for a house from the bank.

I say Colorado.

Oh, please what a load of BS . . .

Leading the industry in what? Recalls???

Customer service is only as good as the dealership, the car manufacturer's have no control on the quality service you receive . . .

yeah and how many dealerships do you deal with.. because i deal with them all at my work and toyota is by far the best at getting things done and their problems solved... which is why they destroy any american made car company in sales

I think the point was that the dealerships are not owned by the car companies, they are independently owned.

But the reason I had to respond is in the broad scope of your response. Your experience in your area may suggest that Toyota dealers are better... but you are saying that you "deal with them all" so of the thousands of dealers in the US, you have dealt with them all, and know for a fact that all Toyota dealers are better and that that in turn is reflected directly into sales.

Toyota sales are based on a good reputation for a durable product and further increased with quality and the "green" perception. It is difficult to compete when their name holds such great value. There have been many clinics in which vehicles have been rebadged and, the ones I am aware of, Toyota badged vehicles win.

If you guys haven't seen this video of a Tundra, check it out. Toyato is still playing catch up the fullsize truck market.
