Talk to Ray Romito. He's just west of Wolf road and south of Rt. 6. He builds some wicked big blocks. 708 479 RACE

Ray's old partner Ricky Rizutti does some badass motors too. Ricky is moving into a new shop right now so he doesn't have any contact info yet. The only thing with both of them is be preparred to wait a long time. Ricky did the heads that are goin on my 416 motor. Definately top notch and flow like a mother

Custom Engine Services in Aurora, IL. Ask for Tim Schomer he owns it. I have not had a bad experience with him, but like most any shop, I'm sure some have.. just another option.

Rick's always been the guy to go to for small blocks...Ray is the big block guy. Although they each to both types of motors.

Ray's been really getting in to the LSX motors lately too.

If you've seen the attention to detail they put into motors, you'd understand why it takes a while. When you're putting 5-10+ grand into a motor, you don't want to rush them.

Scott at Midwest Engine Tech is probably one of the best in the area. But he isn't cheap and their can be a long wait for his work. He's in Mokena, IL 815-464-9490.

Hypercision Automotive in Orland Park, talk to Jeff Sr. 708-532-0303

We may not be the cheapest and the wait can be a while as well, but the quality and work is the best
