Hey if thats ur car in your sig I seen you there today you have a nice ride! I also seen alot of firebirds/WS6, I met some kool guys and gals from tech. Seen this WS6 run neck to neck with the viper that was there that was awesome. I had a great time despite the rice but overal it was kool. Seen some camaros there also but there is one that sticks out a silver SS with skinnies on it that was nasty He ran with clocks off though

It's going on again tomorrow I think too. I went today but I only got 3 runs in. Ricermobiles leaked fluid all up and down the place so it was slick. I did see the white Z28. The Silver one with the Sunoco hood looked like it was moving out FAST. I think hes the same guy from Rsd's.

I went yesterday and could only get in a run an hour if that due to all the rice. It was rediculous they really know how to **** up some ****. I couldn't get any traction on my street tires at all.

They just resurfaced it a couple years ago and its already that bad again? Next time they redo it they should do it right and raise up the pits leading to the starting line some so you don't have to do a burnout in a hole with ruts for each tire.

Went Sunday with some friends, just to watch (My 3 other friends who were supposed to come race all backed out, wtf). Was pretty cool, but alotta rice like you all said.

Also, that was my first time at GLD and the track just looked like it was in baaaaadddd condition. It's really tiny too (I mean skinny) and small burnout area.

The one car that stood out was the red SS with the black stripes down the sides, ran a low to mid 11, was the fastest 3rd/4th gen there. Also, the steel blue GTO with what sounded like open headers was sweet too, but wasn't fast at all, just sounded sick.

Anybody here go on Sunday? It really wasn't as packed as I thought it was going to be..

I went on Sunday, got in a few runs.
Didn't do as well as I hoped, missed 4th gear on 2 runs, and just couldn't launch, I kept running 2.5 sixty foot times. My best was 14.2 @ 104

Saw your video, I'm the red one going against the GTO. Missed 4th gear on that run and ran a crappy 14.4 @ 100

You have the full video of that run by anychance?

First off if there is rice there you might as well throw in the towel. All they do is drag water all over the track also the 30 sec quarter mile pass makes for a long day if you have a bunch there.
