Here's a video of my 4 passes in chrono-order.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UK1WoCCrJmc&fmt=18

Best run was my last of the night as it got cooler and I had a chance to see what the car does after not being hot from an hour long trip. And I know r/t doesn't matter in t&t but I was in between .292 and .081 all night.

Best run of the night was:
RT: .198
60: 2.119
330: 5.688
1/8: 8.518 @ 87.22mph
1000: 10.946
1/4: 12.994 @ 110.28mph

That's not bad at all man, good job! I've only been to the track a few times in my day. Once in my GTP and once in my RX-7. I have a total of 7 runs down a drag strip, combined.

Just get that 60 down and you'll be truckin along in no time. At least you got a 12 second pass, eh comrade?

Ryan,

I totally forgot. I spoke to a certain co-worker about said spare parts one day and then I had to go to Moser. I'll bring it up again and see what we need, right on?

Jerry,

How'd you do at the track, man??

Starfire,

For once, I fully and wholeheartedly agree with you. I think this is the beginning of a great relationship. Hahaha.
Sounds good man, thanks!

I need some axles, a carrier, and drag radials. LoL, I did this on my everyday driven BFG KDWS's that are like 3 years old now. I ended up almost dumping the clutch the last run because I'd bog if I dumped it at 2500 but spin like hell if I dumped it above about 2.8k, but nerves got me and I didn't get much slipping done on the last run, so it's pretty much a clutch dump.

Is it true that 1 tenth in the 60ft is worth roughly 2 tenths in the ET?

I heard it was 1 tenth in the 60 = 2 MINUTES in the quarter.

SDB,

Not sure if you'd be interested or not, but a guy at C&P is getting divorced and needs to sell his 94(?) Corvette with a Lingenfelter 383... He was saying he'd sell it for $14k

and that goes for anybody really

Thanks for the heads up...might be the one on their website. Unfortunatley, the name Lingenfelter doesnt carry a lot of "weight" any more, those guys are going to have a hard time unloading the vehicles with Lingenfelter packages today. Used to be that name was worth gold on resale, not so much anymore. Unfortunatley, a 383 LT1 Corvette probably runs high 11's/low 12's...like a Ls1 with a 150 shot! Definatley want t LSx car next, not an LT1 car.

New ownership might make it better, only time will tell but it will never be like it was when John was still alive.
