Its probably a dark shade of purple. What kind of car is it? The shade of purple that I looked at was not nearly dark enough to look black... it was just plain purple. I'm a firm believer that all cars look best in black, no matter what kind of car

We won't have the car fixed in time, and we were going to take the CTS-V with the F-1A/LS2, but the Madman Racing 9 inch rear is having problems with the axles, and that is not resolved yet.

I'm hoping to get my car at least in honorable mention level in a magazine or two this spring. I think with the turbo + good photography I might have a chance. Perhaps if we get a triple down with Drew, Nick and myself we'll have a better chance.

No, the car wouldn't launch the next round with the front suspension broken. We did try though... lol

.........Buying that chieftain would have put me more in debt! Haha. I'm still gonna see how you both do on your projects. Then if all goes according to plan I'll most likely get a 370 and a hair dryer for next winter. This winter I'm going to spend time accumulating parts to complete the car. Mainly suspension oriented....except for a CD player. Sweet lord, I need tunes in the car.
Gut that thing!!!!!

made it back from muncie and improved my time a little. Went from a 12.536 to a 12.434. I then tried a run with my 20's on the back and ran a slick 14.9 with a 3s sixty foot

J-Rod it was nice to see you, your GF, Cobb and Jerry down there. I ended runner-up in the trophy race we accidentally entered! Ran a 12.73 on a 12.71 dial but went -.026 RED Dammit tryin to hard! Jason from RPM ran a 12.25 at 109 in his Silvy SS after you guys left.

I heard about a get together planned for Saturday. But afterwards, is anybody gonna head up to Halls? I'd hate to get up there and freeze my 'nads off in an empty lot.

IPS built both the cars (identical)....454 iron LSX block, 6 bolt heads (ET or another aftermarket brand), APS turbo setup, RPM 4L65E tranny (they are going to switch to TH400, they keep braking the 4L65E tranny's). Well over 1000 rwhp on big bost. They are both in the low 9's at nearly 160!
