In my pocket currently. I've been getting my *** kicked at work which = no lunch breaks. As long as nothing else catches on fire here I'll stop by early next week.

You'll just buy strippers with it anyway...

Quote:
The LSX-DR Cylinder Head is designed for 4.125-inch-and-larger cylinder bores. Airflow can reach 430cfm on the intake side and 280+ cfm on the exhaust ports.

Quote:
The all-new LSX 454 crate engine uses LSX forged rotating parts and a newly developed 0.635-inch-lift hydraulic roller cam, making this a monster LS engine in a classic cubic-inch combo. Through its four-barrel carburetor, it's rated at 620 horsepower.

the thread hints that they are 305 intake runner, have been over 460 intak cfm, and have mad 1000 hp so far....

OK...tall deck LSX block, 480+ cubes, these heads all done up, and no power adder or a big nasty 105+mm turbo...either one!!!

Jesus, that's some intake flow (not bad on the exhaust either...)!

My 325 cfm heads are going to go cry now.

Nasty, i am gonna be up by the outlet mall this weekend. My folks lake cottage is down by daves lake shack on 20 about 3 miles from the malls.. Give me a call if you want to stop out for a beer. Its looking really crappy for deer hunting on Saturday evening if the weather is correctly forecasted. I might just get lit up instead.

For the record my butt only hurt because of the Firey Cheetos I had earlier, this came out: And I think that it was mostly the smug look on that smilies face that got to me. I just wanted to ask a friendly honest car question to guy (Beast) because i didn't have time to wait on google. I prefered to come back later for his response and maybe a picture of his car. Instead I got you and I took it as just a little rude. It's cool though I'm thickening my skin, maybe it's cause I dont know you, yeah lets chalk it up to that.
Hi I'm Terry02. It's a pleasure to meet you, albeit not the greatest circumstances.

This threed is quite huge and I would feel pretty bad if I was the one to end it. So if no ill intentions were present then hey cool lets move on to this......

VIS racing is a joke, They didn't even check their inventory when I ordered my hood, they just said Quote: Yep it's here, be there in a week:
Now I'm told Via phone call from parts guy of third party company they actually are in the hole on inventory and never had the hood at all. I told him to go through the other company "Carbon Creations" to see if we could get it here a little sooner rather than wait to see if VIS ever got the damn thing in stock. Parts guy said the only difference is the sticker they put on the hood, and that they come from the same manufacturer. Well I guess I won't know until it gets here. Wish me luck and God Speed to the UPS guy. God I hope it shows up intact. I probably just jinxed it. Crap

Hey Joe I got my Yank 3800 stall converter today!

O and this morning on the way to work at 3 am I saw a Cadillac engulfed in flames on Maplecrest & Vance intersection! And I heard from someone at work that they had it blocked from the Ace Hardware entrance to Maplecrest & Trier intersection. Also, I heard that it may have blown up too! Well I guess it sucks to be them and hope they just didn't leave Wrigley Field!

Go from a suicide/whatever down the street from our parents house, now a blown up caddy down the road? Good deal on the stall.

Break in the converter correctly!! FIll will regular (nonsynthetic) ATF before installing, when all buttoned up and driving for first time....
1.) do not go WOT for a while.
2.) get either a laptop or a switch to enable you to lock/unlock the converter OR you can just drive in OD at about 55 mph (should be locked by then and then tap the breaks overy now and then to make the converter lock/unlock

I made sure my converter had 50 miles AND that it locked/unlocked 50 times, then sat overnight to completely cool BEFORE I went WOT...

once you get a tune for the converter, you will be amazed at the difference, you will think you picked up 50 hp
