+1 on that. Unless you have something back there that is in the way
Mine bolted up fast. I just wish i would have done it at the same time as the headers. It would have helped the y-pipe install smooth out a bit.
That's funny I was at Shang east and her posse came in to party for her birthday, but I never heard an age. I met her and got a hug...........and Herpes But in her defense I could have gotten that from the DVD she gave me

Well the cheapest one for a GTO is about $600. I have talked to a few guys that have had them made for half that.
I have a stolenfox h-pipe and I'll be picking up some mufflers, so I basically just need the piping to replace the shitty crushed-beer-can looking 2" stock piping.

Pm'd ya.
I would love to but the leaves on my money tree haven't came back yet.
I may eventually end up buying one, I'm just looking for some other options. I'm a cheap bastard.

McQueen,
A good mandrel bent system is probably going to cost similar to an off the shelf, and may not fit as well. Shoot, EPP charged me ~600 dollars for a crush bent mild steel y-pipe they fabricated.
I wouldn't bother with anyone who can't do mandrel bent. Why spend the money on crush bent pipe that's not that much better than your stock, when you know you'll have to replace it down the line. If you're going to do that, just get new mufflers welded on to your stock catback for now, and replace it with a proper unit later. My .02 anyway.

Oh...can I be homewrecker drunk Drew?
Yeah...good ol' Chip. When Brent made my y-pipe (when I wasn't employed there) he did a damn sight better than Chip did. I also paid about the same as you and Brent did a street tune on it.
But...I agree with JPH, may as well get an off-the-shelf system. If you'd like, you could PM me what system you're looking at and I can see if we can help you out at all with pricing?
ALSO, RHD is definitely for sale. If you know any aspiring postal workers, let them know!
