Default I just dont understand...

cant we all just get along...maybe streetracing isn't the answer...we should get together for a picnic, or maybe a group picture or something...really....

I think all the stress on going fast, racing, competition is misplaced. We should be focused on eco friendly solutions to help out Obama and his great administration. I for one am buying a hybrid to decrease my carbon footprint on the world.

I think the world would be so much better if we all had the exact same car that ran the same times at the track so we could all just focus on important things.

love,

Scotty B

The diff cover is done, I should have the rear and driveshaft installed and fluids in today. Radiator bit is still up in the air. Alex brought up a few points I need to talk with you about and see what your thoughts are

yes sir, i put one on my cobra from billetflow. the irs housing likes to twist a little bit under load. cast aluminum (talking about the cover) doesn't like to twist and will just fracture, spilling your "guts" everywhere. so definitely get one of those and then all you'll have to worry about are killing half shafts (and tires, lol), but if you upgrade to some nice DSS level 5's or something equivalent, you should be golden.

The Cobra mounting setup in the FD is a little different from the Mustang.

It's mounted with bolts through the rear cover to the main housing on the rear (4 per side) and then the standard front mounts. It's running DSS axles and driveshaft already.

good, well if that's the case, it sounds like he should be set then.

Nick-you decide what size/type of tires you're going to run yet?

Sorry for missing this post; but I was there, and talked to you gentlemen about setting one up between one of your cars and my buddy's TT GT... but you didn't seem to show interest there...

10.5x26 ET Street Radials on the rear for the street rims, and 11.5x28 ET Streets on the rear for the slicks and skinnies

Thank you sir. They're 18x9 up front and 18x10 out back. Not sure if I'm going to keep them or not.

Default 4l60e and ss3800 stall

Dan and I will be test fitting the 4l80e in the truck this weekend... If all goes well with the headers, I will be getting rid of the trans I bought off of Blake (digi solo). From what I remember, it has a shift kit and a billet servo. Ill have to look back thru my PMs. Just looking to get some extra cash to throw at the truck- Ive also got a **** load of lsx (truck) parts from heads to oil pans... PM me if you are looking for anything. JZ

You guys pulled those same bullshit lines last time. Perhaps now you're honest, sorry, I doubt it. You brought down a bone stock car with drag radials and an intake? Keep your B.S. you're not Smokey Yunick.

Fool me once...

I'm just glad to see that people actually know who Smokey Yunick is and what he's known for. Bravo!
