Which Track?
Ok guys, I cant wait till fall to get my runs in and see where I stand amongst the slow... So, I am prepared to make the trek to a local strip and see what times she will pull. 66 and Union are out, seeing as I will probably be tossed after the first real pass. That leaves byron and 41...
I have the DS loop, but what else will I need other than a helmet?
Which track will be better preped and net me the most of my trip?
Who else will want to go?

Byron is by far the easiest as far as tech inspection. They just ask you wear a helmet. **** the tech guy is usually sitting down with his kid eating a hotdog and doesnt care about 80percent of the cars

Last time I went to Byron, I pulled up to the tech lane with my car on the trailer. By the time I got out of the truck, the tech was writing the number on my car. Didn't open the hood or the doors, didn't look at the belts, bar or helmet.
The track hooked better than GLD. Lights off and cheaper too. Wish they had weeknight stuff

My car should be legal up to 12.5 and if I cant break that then I really need the driver mod... I just dont want to drag it all the way there for one trip down the track... Next weekend might just be too soon.. The week after is looking up though.
