Well, looks like my car will be hitting storage next week. I think I may have drove it for the last time this year. I saw a nice red 93-97 Trans am on campus today. It definelty had a cam in it and had the 98+ tailights in it, and the 93-97 front end. Anyone know who this is or seen him around?

I'm 50/50. It depends on how much I get done today and during the day tomorrow. I have a few tests coming up with material that is in desperate need of attention.

Hey thanks, Cody! I'm jealous that you get to store yours up for the winter. I hate the fact that in another month I'm going to be putting snow tires on it. It'll then have that nice "fade" to the paint job. You know, the one where its white at the bottom from all of the road salt then gets progressively more blue?

I know exactly what you are talking about. Mine definetly has that kind of paint job going, since it has been through every winter since it was made, ha ha ha. I keep it clean and lots of wax on it and it makes it a lot less noticeable. I made a short video so I can compare it to what its like after the next round of mods. Here is the vid

Hey guys,
How you doing?
Looks like we might get some decent weather this week. If it's 60's on Friday or saturday anyone wanna get out for a cruise?
Cody,
Man, maybe we should run em. Car looks pretty quick! What all have you got planned for your mods?

Nate

Nate, it may be quick for an LS1 but I am positive you would make short work of me. I plan on throwing a cam in sometime over summer if the funds are there. After I do that, I will give you a run but I still think you will walk all over me, but it ought to be fun. As far as next weekend, working froday night and might be free on saturday. As for my mods right now: Lid, long tubes, off road y, and a cutout.
Planned mods between now and the end of summer(if the money is there): Bigger intake, Ported throttle body, 4.10 gears, and Torquer v3 cam and all supporting mods (valvetrain, timing chain, oil pump, dyno tune, etc.....).

I THINK I can do Saturday night. Family and friends are going to be here for the UofM game, and I'm not sure what all of the plans are as of yet.

Cody,
Very cool. Keep us posted. Are you going to slowly collect parts this winter, or is EVERYTHING going to have to wait for summer funds?
Ed,
We just might do that. If not maybe we can stretch out the legs on Sunday afternoon sometime.....

Cody,
Almost forgot. There is a guy that does GREAT tuning over in Kokomo at Green light racing. He tunes it on the street for 250. It's not just a tune thrown at your car supporting your mods, he'll actually tweek it. Just a thought. Not that dyno's aren't awesome, but they are pretty darn hard on a car... Just something to think about and look into between now and next summer.

Nate, I should have all the parts collected this winter. I am hoping I can get all this done by early summer, but I usually run into bumps. I have to put together a few guys that know their stuff and don't mind helping me out. If you know a good place where I can do this, let me know. I want to do it myslef so I can leanr how to, but I will need someone there to help me thorugh it. I will definetly consider the guy in Kokomo, but still may go the dyno route. I may do some research on the subject and see if there any benefits of the street tune over the dyno tune.

Cody,

I have also heard tremendous things about GreenLight, but have never been to the guy myself.

Nate, Sunday actually would be really good for me. Let me know if this is something you want to do...I have to clean the car though...and its 35* as we speak right now. I hope it will warm up between now and then so I can clean it a little.
