Purdue guys....
go to chad he is a great tuner(one of the best in indiana ) and one hell of a nice guy i rode up with my friend when he had his 99 SS tuned. Chad and pat know what they are doing .
And street vs. dyno.... Dyno might get you an extra 5hp on the top end max (literally, I had a guy in our club here at purdue with a cam that had Chad tune it, and then went to Speed Inc. and got a dyno tune [theyre also one of the best at dyno tunes], and then could only sqeek an extra 5 out of it). Street tunes will make it have MUCH better street driving qualities. They don't/can't do that on the dyno, but his street tunes will have it running as well as possible. And also, if nothing else, he will actually go to the dyno with you and do a dyno tune too if you pay to rent the dyno.
Great guy that does great tunes. He's where i'm going as soon as I do my cam/heads... No doubt.
Still not sure on Sunday. We are putting in a geothermal loop at our house today and tomm. and still might be finishing up sunday.
Black02SS is Chad's name on here. Look him up. Or go check out his website. I think it's greenlightmotorsports.com do a search for it and you'll find it.

I would not buy an LT1 car. First off, the last LT1 F-Body was made over 11 years ago. If you find a nicer one, most likely you'll pay a premium for it. Also, you've already had an LS car, so I think you will be disappointed with the power compared to the LS. On that same note, there are a lot of cars that are lighter, making good power (close to 240-300) that have 2-4 less cylinders, are more practical, and get better gas mileage. You might want to consider some other cars that still feed your need for speed. Have you thought about an older dumdumdumdumdum Neon? Or a 2006ish Chevy Cobalt SS? There are other cars that are fun like Mazda 3's and Pontiac Vibe GT's. You might be able to find a cheaper Mini or even a nice Miata (don't count them out, they are actually fun cars). You can also pick up higher mileage 97ish 3-Series for a decent price as well.
I just think its hard to find an affordable LT-1 car that hasn't had the crap beat out of it. And for the gas mileage they get compared the LS-1 cars, it may actually cost you more money.
Good luck!
I didn't get my car out.
I was knee deep in dirt all weekend putting in the geo loops. Next weekend will come wiring up the unit and hopefully start using it!!
LS1 vs LT1.... We could argue all day.... remember, your getting rid of your car for "practical" reasons. I like Ed's idea of getting a more practical car that will still fill your need for speed. There are so many options now it's not even funny. Especially if your not opposed to buying something foreign. for instance, an 02ish wrx.... We won't laugh too hard if you buy a ricer...
Just kiding, My wife drives a honda accord daily.... Hope you find a good home for your car. It deserves a meticulous owner.

As a future health care professional, this is also not a welcomed sight as a national health care service has the potential to ruin progression of new medicine.
