It does say "Convertible / Coupe 2D". Could there just be one number for both that year or something?

What are all of the records regarding your car? Sometimes, its just the interpretation of your car. Such as, your T/A can either be a Coupe or Convertible. Your car isn't a Formula either, its just how CarFax labels them.

They are all just buying selling and inspections... The cars never been wrecked and I know one of the owners only owned it for 7 days?... I dont know whats up with that... but yeah apparently carfax just labels them like that... hmm oh well...

haha jarret, I'm not saying they are bad engines at all! But, you said it best, they are good engines (like every other LTx/LSx engine) if they haven't been romped on. The problem is is that the LTx has been affordable for quiet a bit longer than the LS, so its harder to find that car that hasn't been through the ringer. If you do try and find one that hasn't, more than likely you will be paying what you'd pay for a high mileage stock ls1. I'm a big fan of the LT-1s, and they are still a big part of the hot-rod scene, no doubt.

Ed,
Well put on the LTX's.
Jarret, don't take offense, we are truly just trying to talk about options for Austin.
Jarret, Tell us about your car. Where in crawfordsville, I have family all over montgomery county.

hahahahaha maybe!!! right now im worried about getting my car fixed as i did a nasty burnout and caught traction at the wrong time and it threw my *** into the ditch haha...it sucked...broke my wheel hub right off the spindle., cracked my ttm($200 rim) messed my exhuast up,craxked my pass fender and cracked my bumper..got it going back together now though...it will be ready for next summer i hope and sure ill call somebody out as long as you dont have some radical lsx motor..haha some of those lsxs are mean as hell....im outside of crawfordsville on 32 east right by the pilot truckstop...im 19 and have built this car over the past 2 years....not a budget build at all either...i prolly have more in it than i should...lol..you prolly know that feeling...anyways

355 lt1 motor
granatelli plug wires
acdelco platinum plugs
blaster 2 coil
flowmaster exhaust
soon to come (AI or LE) h/c/i
supporting mods to follow that too.headers, tb, injectors, fine tune, ory, 255lph fuel pump....you get the idea
there are a couple more on the motor but nothing too radical yet

6 spd,
spec 2 clutch

it has pretty much everything for the suspension too..kyb agx 8 ways, eibach springs, hotchkis stb, hothkis frame connectors..ill do the rest when i get the money and the motor finished the way i want it

if any of you know eric, he has ridden in it and can vouche for me that it is no slow car at all....i still want it faster but you can never be satisfied either so you know how that is

my drivetrain came from a 97 ss that was totaled out so its pretty much a worked over a little ss, so it was all the supporting ss mods too

get the point..its not your average ltx car at all....and it also has many visual mods too...

we should make some in stone dates for a cruise as soon as summer hits(or any nice weather) for next year....

oh yeah and if any of you have some free time im sure i could use some help getting this thing back together haha....i could do it by myself but its always nice to have another hand and somebody to talk to while ya do it ya know....let me know if any of you have any free time at all since it is winter now...

I saw a couple birds this weekend, don't know if it was any of you guys. Not sure if anyone saw me, but I looked pretty funny rolling around on my 1994 alloy salad shooters. I've gone into winter mode, so don't make fun of me!

Hey guys,

I might get my car out this weekend. I took it for a little run earlier today. Felt good. If anyone wants to get together for some driving I'd be game.
Saturday? Sunday?
I think since we both suck this year, we should just split the damn bucket and move on to basketball....
