They just got outplayed. LA had better pitching, defense, hitting, etc. Oh well. I am anxious to see how they will rebound next year and what moves they will make.

Keep this in mind... the Cubs the won the division 2 years in a row which is a great accomplishment. Even with a good team, sometimes it takes time to win a World Series. Remember how dominant the Braves were during the 90s? They only won a World Series one time (if I am not mistaken).

As a Chicago fan, I will be rooting for the White Sox. But they don't have the team like they did in '05. I hope that they can surprise us all!

A much better song that "Go Cubs, go." That song gets on my nerves sometimes.

Devil Rays!!!!! I'm a cubs fan first and all my life, but ever since the d-rays entered in the mid-90s, i've been a fan. Glad to see them doing good and making the post season. I hope they sweep the sox.

LOL. However I remember seasons where Chicago teams did about the same. +1 on the lets go cubs song. It needs to be replaced in a bad way.

It seems like our economy is more stable than how the Cubs play. I'll also be a die hard Cubs fan for life, but I dont know how many more heart breaks I can take.

I'm only 19 and I have a guy feeling I'll never see a championship on the north side.

The Cubs won the division 2 years in a row and had 8 players in the All Star game this year. Sounds pretty good to me. As I stated before... the Braves of the 90s only won the World Series once during their reign. Now the Cubs have gotten the right combination... it's just a matter of time before they win it all.

Granted... the Cubs lost 3 games in a row against LA. They got cold at the wrong time.

LA was also a COMPLETELY different team when we played them during the regular season. Nevertheless, they made us look pretty shitty.
