coasties hey fellas! i was in from '92-'97. was staioned on 3 ships during my tour. i was a DC3 before i left. was stationed on cutters: RED OAK(BUOY TENDER) STATEN ISLAND(110PB) and the MORTGENTHAU(378'HEC) can anybody tell me if these 3 cutters are still in service. heard the RED OAK was decommissioned. be safe fellas!

I know the MORTGENTHAU has not been decommissioned yet. I have 2 friends stationed on that boat and love it

lol, I wouldn't worry about it fella. I'm paying $4.40/gallon here in Kodiak. Not that bad and gas prices will start getting better in the near future. If I do get there, I'm always down to help fix. Every bolt on my 99 TA has been messed with, hell I did my 408 swap at the hobby shop there on base in 2009. Plus there are some more add-ons I will be putting on this up and coming winter too 
Going to add quite a bit more power to the car. If your around, you'd be more than welcome to check it out. Where are you at the Nick V. ?

Hey guys I was looking on the thread and say coast guard. Sn Smith is the name and I currently stationed at the honor guard i have a year in and and year and a half to go until i hit the airman program and also going AET. Anyone in the Alexandria Va area.

To the guy looking into ME school. I don't see the CG keeping that for a very long time.....just saying.... Every ME that I've met just reminded me of some douche bag "check out my gun" hometown cop. I understand your reasoning for going that route, but.... "Follow the money" is a fun game to play these days with budget cuts/issues....
And don't listen to DVS, his car can't beat my silverado....
HAHAHAHAHA!!! Can't wait till the 408's can have a play date bro! **** I just miss that time we cruised Savannah to Tampa! Looked at some of the pics I had from it the other day. Good times.

i gotta see this BA silverado.... ill be in Tracen Cape May next week.... lol might have to head up to atlantic city when i get the 92 back on the road. not race worthy right now. but if you want a 1/4 mile race i might have something down here in cecil you can play with

theres a little differnce tho, your on the west coast and were on the east coats. if you ever come out this way lemme know i have a little truck ill line up against at the track for cash if your serious about your racing

Means you need to get back to the swamp also fella. Don't think I am going to run at Northeast once while I'm back. Their track prep is really bad, plus the car will be staying in DE more than NC.Glad to see there is more and more of us Coasties on here.
