Who gives a GD about any of it? Honestly? I wish I woulda never joined security forces because we are stupid pussies. Because we are arguing about how "Bad ***" we are...We are about as useful as **** on a bull. Anybody can do our job...ANYBODY! We are not special...We are the rejects put into a pile and made to do the work that no one else wants to and constantly hammered on like we are retarded, rightfully so. So coming from a security forces retard, I wish they would eliminate the career field and let the mentally challenged people that work in the chow halls take over and do the job and send my *** to services...

lol that might solve it...cause its june and these young pilots are sporting them like a 1980's baseball player...thing is..no one else has em...officers that aint pilots dont wear em...and enlisted dont wear em...lol

I wish you luck man....you will deal with alot of ****...and at times you will wonder what the hell you were thinking..but just keep proactive...and dont let the **** get to your head...stay motivated..stay positive...send me a message when you find out where your getting stationed i know alot of cops from alot of bases...if you get sent to Davis-Monthan hit me up..

yes i know quite a bit about both jobs(the most obvious being pilot, hell my two year old son knows what a pilot does)
TACP dudes are hard on everyone including themselves, thin skinned sensitive types(ie panties in a wad) need not apply.

Hello, Just found this thread. I'm proud to say that I am a US Air Force Security Forces member. I'm currently on my second deployment, and I love every minute of it. There is nothing else I would rather do. And to those that say we only check Ids, not true. I ride in a patrol car every day when I'm not in the desert. My four year contract is up in five more months and I plan on re-enlisting.

I actually read up on being a CATM and o man I want to do that!! Know anybody that has? Heard anything about it? I also know they get 3 times larger bonuses along with MWD.

This deployment I got lucky. Im at Camp As Sayliyah Qatar. Its just like home with patrols and whatnot. Im reuping for 4 more years. Looking into K9 when I get back.

EDIT: Just thought i'd add i went through every step of the way in my ex fiance's training with her, she told me everything, i still talk to her til this day, she is a lcpl marine stationed in Quantoco, My best friend through high school went marines also, stationed in JAP, he explained how everything really works, My dad was a marine, stationed in hawaii, he had a cush job cuz he was smart but still, i was ****** raised by a marine. I know how the military is there chief. And if you want to go farther back, my Gpa was active duty army during the cuban missle crisis along with 2 of my uncles! My rude awakening was when i was 8 and they wouldnt let me quit basketball lol. I know how the military is, i've grown up with that **** and most of my good friends are smack dab in the middle of it. And hey if they stick me checkin id cards, i'll be the best ****** ID card checker there is then move up and advance advance advance.

Well Im AF Security Forces, and you kno what, Females may be able to do what Males can do but more often than not they choose to use there sex to get what they want on the job, ie BTZ. Ive lost some good positions because of a few females that didnt deserve it. But thats not a reason to believe that they cant do what we can. And as for "checking ID Cards" yes you do ALOT of it in SF. But the great thing about that is if your a Amn and a Chief walks up without the proper credentials.....he's not goin anywhere. Another upside is that when you get ****** like this one who think thats all we do, and he doesnt have a valid Line Badge or it isnt displayed properly, you can A- be cool and tell him to "fix" himself...Or option B- Put him on his face handcuff him and physicaly escort him outside the restricted area. And another thing, when we train, we train hard, full battle rattle, Kevlar, knee pads everything. On top of that its 100+ degrees out so You'll figure out real quick to not let anyone badmouth our carreer field. Its great, and where else will an E7+ follow the orders of a E2. Just sayin
