Wow... how do you know all of that stoleit? Yea all that **** happened and I guess the world found out (we use the canopy as an oven to heat/forcecure stuff). I definitely think its the best thing since sliced bread, but I dont care to be a part of test phase anything when it comes to military aircraft. Flight Ops>everything else. I like to keep my options open for what air frame I am going to track. Right now I am gunning for A-10s, but CV-22's are a close second.

 

I just checked the availability for this year. There are no F-15 transfers for Marines.

As a Harrier pilot, my only option is a 3 year tour at Shaw AFB flying the F-16CJ.

Anyone know the difference between an F-16CJ and an F-16C/D?

 

The CJ's are Block40 (big engine) and are used for SEAD (suppression of enemy air defenses).

That is Acft 99-011...Part of the squadron i'm in. Stationed at Nellis, it's an OT (operational test) jet. We just got back last week from Alaska. I just got done working on that turd, Bad Fadec, and Apu overtemp. It's all good though.
