a buddy of mine is there with 3acr, he said its not too bad. He likes the housing (married/no kids). IMO anything CONUS is better than overseas, at least europe

I really like hood. Close to everything i.e. Austin, San Antonio, College Station. The drag strip in Temple isn't very good though but it is close

Hoods not to bad, traffic sucks pretty bad, most of CAV just got back so its getting worse. Theres usually a Corvette/LSX meetings on fridays at the Target in Harker Heights around 7.

i'm leaving for Fort Hood on April 1st. Finally got transferred out of the reserves. No clue what Company or anything im going to be with though. Just says Fort Hood as of now. Good to know that i might have a little bit of something to do out there thats car related.

Also whats needed to pass emissions in texas? i'm pretty sure i'll have to register my car in texas and get a texas tag and everything since i'll be there around 3 years. let me know cause if its strict i'll have to mod my car before i go.

define dark.... mine is like 20%. glad no cats is cool cause i'm lacking there, im also lacking the AIR system. i removed it entirely when i installed my LTs. my tuner showed me his emissions check and my car registers on a computer that it passes but thats just the computer plug in test...

Hood sucks, Cav coming back made traffic ******* impossible. It takes me right at 40 minutes to make it to work and I live right in cove. I come through the cove gate and have to pass threw the Cav side of post to make it where I need to be.
