we were out this morning and passed the whidbey...and the capt doesnt like to talk about the whole running aground incident. when it happened, we were all sitting around in combat, and all of a sudden the ship jolted real hard..then you heard the screws start to turn a whole lot faster...then it was like we jumped to warp speed or something..it was hilarious. lol. even tho it was a diff capt, no one talks about it

well, im a ctt3...so i dont really deal with any of that...thank hahaha. but when we left the yards 2 weeks ago, we dropped anchor like 40 miles offshore, and when we backed up a lil bit to get the anchor to grab...they backed up too fast or something, cause that **** broke the damn hooky thingie off the anchor (sorry for the non-technical terms...im not deck seaman, so i have no idea what its called. lol) my ship is realllllly old, you would be surprised how many oldtimers laugh @ me when i say im on Shreveport. they used to be on here back in the 60's and 70's. lol
