I tried for about a year to go EOD. But a whole lot of events came up (ie: operation Desert Fox, Career Planner dying, among others) and the Marine Corps said no.

Cool. Guess there are three... lol...
I was Army, and 18 when I went through back in 95, so I actually never went to panama city. Pretty much didn't leave the ft.walton/destin area much, although while at the head I went to dc a lot.
Got my master badge and popped smoke last November been doin the odd contract job while going to school now.

I never worked for EODT, been working off and on for URS at a prevailing wage jobsite down the road from my house . Trying to break into the software field right now. You work the grid for EODT? Texas A&M?

We lost "Top" Angus from my unit back in Taqadum this month. Also lost SSgt "Pops" here in Ramadi. EOD techs are some crazy/brave s.o.b.s I tried to lat move but the wife wouldn't have it.
Rest in peace gentlemen.

I had originally signed up for EOD, and looking back, I wish I had stuck with it. Instead got my contract changed to 19K, Abrams Crewmember. The Abrams are a hell of a fun ride, but I would have liked to have more skills coming out of the Army. Not many private companies near Dallas work with the M1A2, lol.

Haha... I spent a couple weeks out on san clemente island doin some explosives training with the seals. Then I got pretty lit with them at the bar and we started talking ****... needless to say, I got really hazed, duct-taped up and they took me out into the ocean, then buried me in the sand where the waves were breaking. Lesson learned, don't talk **** when you're a lone army guy drinking with seals. lol

Ben, here I am. Haven't heard from you in a while. I've been laying low and staying in the south as much as possible.
Not much new on the Camaro but I am in the process of restoring a '66 427/390 Vette. It was my dad's, he drove it off the showroom floor in '66 for the princely sum of $4995. God, I wish it was still in that showroom floor condition
