Korea was great!!

I spent one year (04-05) at camp stanely and my second year (05-06) at K-16 Airbase which is about 25min-an hour from yongsan. Traffics a **** in Seoul especially with a M984A1 towing a M978

I loved it, you'll love it, other people will love it. I miss that place almost as much as AIT @ APG......... ah baltimore. x1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000

I was stationed at Kunsan from 02-03. Then deployed there in the summers of 04 and 05. I was in the 80th, then went to phase the rest of the time. It was a blast.

Osan Jan 03 - Jan 04. Jeeez. What a place. Hard work, hard play. Get a place downtown if you can. Makes the experience all that much more "memorable".

I'm here at CRC now, and my wife is at Osan. I've been there a few times and I can honestly say i'm glad i'm not based there. I would be getting into SO much trouble. The prices on things are not always a good deal, except for tailoring. A buddy of mine had some really nice leathers to match his bike (black, gray & white corona jacket). He saw them in a biker mag, cost about $800-900. He took the pic to a guy in Songtan City (right outside the gate at Osan) and two weeks later picked it up for $150. Electronics can be found cheaper on the internet though. Watch out for the taxi's they will try to rip you off.

If you played it right you could still do a $10-$20 all-nighter. Biggest longest party I've ever been to, Korea.
Camp Stanton, 4-7 Air Cav, 01-02.
