Any good shops near Barksdale,AFB Area? Hey, Ill be getting stationed at Barksdale AFB next month, do you all know of any mech shops that are good with LT1s! Ive been chasing a bog problem in my 1995 LT1 9C1 for 2 years with no luck from the local Chevy Dealer and all the mechs in little San Angelo Texas have no idea when it comes to fuel injected engines!

B&M Racing comes to mind. They're near the State Police barracks and the DMV in Bossier City. They also have a dyno.
AMS Racing does alot of machine work. They're located on Barksdale Blvd.
As a side note... if you're looking for a good place to get paint/body work done, check out John's Paint & Body (and CoonAss Customs). Really great bunch of guys that work there, and their paint/body work is some of the highest quality that I have ever seen... great attention to detail! They're also located on Barksdale Blvd.

yes there is alot of good *** shops around TSP,THUNDER,just to name a few that ive delt with and bought stuff from very good service and help from them but ive delt with B&M PERFORMANCE,its a good shop BUT if you want to trust someone with your baby AND have a good job done check out HAYNES HOT RODS its off of north market ive been dealing with them for a while there very profesional and trust worthy and whats up brother(dday151) send me some videos on my yahoo account damn im going crazy over here not being able to watch racing DAMN i HATE SAND AND ROCKS

silver6 i thought i had seen your car on base before ... im in the 917th Comm Flight(reserves), ive always been curious if there were any good shops in the area. might have to check a few of them out
