wein77 youve been in the army long enough to understand whats going on. you shouldnt have many problems changing over, you have some back injuries? we do alot of lifting and working in tight spots. but youll be an E-6 by then just expect alot of politics

mcamarols1 have fun down in TDC. I was told that Hovey and Casey has changed big time since I was there last in 99. I was there in 98 when TDC was under 12ft of water.

yea i bought a chipped PS2, and i can get games for $5, not much of a gamer anymore though, but i have been playing GT4, and NFS Carbon, but thats it. u kno, so how is lewis? my car is registerd in TX, so i dont kno how ima pass "emissions" if u kno what i mean, or register my car, i have to look into that? cant wait to go to a real track!! ohh, what the elevation over there?

well that is a nice thing about living in Olympia, the vehicles here do not have to pass emissions like if you live on ft lewis to seattle. I know that if my 76 firebird had to do emissions there is no way it would ever pass.
It has been nice and sunny here the past couple of days.

Warrior Transition Battalion. It is where wounded soldiers come to get medical care and either transition out of the Army or back into a normal unit. We make sure they have everything they need and monitor the progress. Its pretty cool. It is part of the Army's plan to fix what has happened in the past with regards to wounded soldiers being taken care of properly and getting everything they need to be successful.

ok, we have a set up like that in alaska, but we dont have the amount of troops that you do down there. i think they call it warrior tansition company here. i have a soldier that might be heading there. from my understanding its a very good program. they should get alot more attention than they would in thier own unit. are you in the army or a civilian?

I'm in the Army. We are getting pretty big but we have a regional medical facility so its to be expected. We are getting ready to stand up another company in the next couple of months. A lot of work ahead but I think its worth it seeing the wounded soldiers get what the deserve. I've been in for almost 20 years and I have never seen the army put so much effort into getting soldiers well again and give them a place where they can focus on getting well and not be hassled by thier unit because they can't do certain things.

i think the army is trying to redeem themselves, they have had a really bad rap for not taking care of wounded soldiers... well soldiers in general. i think is is very smart and could possibly reduce the amount of med boards. how long have you been at lewis and how do you like it?

Past history combined with what happened at Walter Reed definately got peoples attention and pushed the army to look at ways of fixing it. Its about time. I've been in 19 years and this is a big improvement over what used to happen to guys that got hurt. I've been at Lewis since 2004. I like it but I also spend 9 years in Germany so the rain doesn't bother me as much as some people. Other than the rain it's probably one of the nicest places to be stationed. I've been lucky both of my stateside assignments were in great areas here and Colorado.
