I am not deployed right now (did OIF before during and after saddam was taken out) but currently in Japan with my 99 Z in storage. The funny thing about the situation is I had like 4 weeks to drive the car before I came here and most of it was tuning, repairing all of the little stuff, and traveling to get to storage facility. This was because I was building the damn thing up over a year+ long period. I don't remember how my car felt but I know it is going to feel like a million bucks when i get home and actually get to tune it for real, work out the kinks, and finish up the major stuff![Happy](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_stretch.gif)
I guess my little red celica will have to hold me over for the next couple of years.

I missed driving my truck when I was deployed to the Deid in the summer of 2005. I also have a 1978 Camaro Z28 in my California hometown. I only see that car 2 times a year...maybe 3 times if I'm lucky. Oh well, look at the bright side...no miles on your car means better resale in the future (if you plan on doing that) and less chances of having your vehicle involved in an accident.

Been in Japan for the last 3 years and got back from Bagram, Afgh. in September. It sucks not being able to drive my cars or any car for that fact that has any power. Since I have been here, I have taken leave twice and went home to enjoy my cars for 3 weeks at a time. It's like a tease, then I have to come back here to the land of the rice burners and dream for what seems like forever before I can drive them again. I get on the vids section just to hear what they sound like, because I forget.

The current AEF cycle has us coming back mid-late January. Even when I get back, I'm probably going to let my Z continue sleeping in storage over winter. I'll probably pull it out late March and throw some things on there...
Like the 200mph speedo I got back from GMS a long *** time ago.

I'm in the navy, getting deployed on SouthPac in april... I know it's going to suck. We go on a lot of 5 day long underway periods and I miss driving my car even for those short periods... 6 months is going to kill me.

Im in Korea right now (@ CRC since sept.) and it seriously sucks to have to walk and take the bus/train everywhere. I don't think I would want to drive my baby here though. The Koreans can't drive for ****. A few weeks ago I went down to Osan AB, and somebody had a stock looking NBM 4th gen TA parked across the street from Chili's. I drooled over it even though it was stock. Can't wait to get my TA back in Italy. Show the Italians whats up!
