ive been on 2 deployments one to iraq in 2004 and i had my car up in Camp lejeune almost the whole time before i deployed on the 24th MEU and im 0311 u might be in the field alot but u will have alot of time to drive ur car and take care of it. need any good ls1 performance shops around the area i know some Bnt did the 383 stroker on my 93 rx7. why is everybody fighting on this thread??

just wondering why alot of "poolee's" seem to think that they are going to have a specific M.O.S., are the Marines on the streets no longer emphasizing that you will only be guaranteed a occupational field? last i checked the only ones that got specific MOS' were reservists

it depends on the shop, if/who they deploy with, etc...
that is my MOS... although I was open contract didn't necessarily pick it. It DEFINITELY has its huge ups if you like to work on your own cars, although not as a PVT/PFC really.. If you have any questions just shoot me a PM
