USAA: worth it?

USAA I can honestly say is the best organization I've ever blown money on things that you can't see. They've been a huge help to me numerous times.

I bank with Navy Federal, but I use USAA for insurance.

Awesome deal for military...my first car is the '99 T/A I have now, and I only pay $110 a month for full coverage. Service is excellent as well, a lot of my friends also use them.

I have been a member for over 30 years. I like the fact that one phone call is all it takes to add a new car to your policy. I have sat in the dealer's show room and added a new car to my policy in five minutes.

i love usaa...im 23, single, have a 2000 cherokee and the 2000 z28 with full coverage on both and roadside assistance on both...im only paying 158 a month...i know others will have lower rates but not bad for a 23 year old...

What about when you ETS? do they drop you like a bad habbit? rates go up? anything?

while i was at bragg the ins rates were awsome, 95 stang, 03 mazdaspeed, 66 plymouth satalite and renters. all for 140 a month. then i wrecked a buddies truck, and a ******* ran a red light totaled the stang. he had gieco and they faught it saying it was my fault. so usaa came out of their *** and paid me for my car, no questions asked. they gave me 7400 about 3400 more than i paid for it. moved to alaska sold the satalight, baught a 97 dodge and my rates went threw the roof. 809 a month, needless to say i found a better deal. but i still go threw them with my banking, checking, savings, and 2 auto loans. awsome service. ill prob go back when i pcs. as far as ets goes i think as long as you stay with them they will stay with you. not to sure havent done it so dont quote me.

Once a member always a member. Your rates shouldnt go up unless you get some tickets.

I've been with USAA since 2000. I will never leave them! I pay $80 a month for full coverage on my 04 goat. My renter's insurance is only $5 a month, my cc max is high with low interest rate, and you get cheaper rates when you get promoted. After a few months when I was married, I mentioned it and asked if I got any kind of discount. The next day they credited money into my account. WOW!!! Like I said, I will never leave them.

Also, for you single guys/gals in the barracks, if your stuff ever gets stolen, USAA renters insurance will pay for everything stolen. Even if the military pays for it, USAA will cut you a check as well.
