Yea, Crew Chief here who only has a few months left till retirement/Tampa. I been here since 94, and it's time to go.
As far as the Buff Driver, that's Cam, and you will find him on the LS2 site. He use to own a built Z06, but sold it. I think he drives the streets in a minivan now.

i have been here at barksdale for almost 3 years. Just scooped up a 02 SS then 2 weeks later i get orders to Japan. I'm in weather. Hit me up, always down to hang with fellow ls1 owners.

I was a Barksdale between '98 and '06. I was a hydro troop in the 20th. I'm at Aviano, It. now. I hate to say it but I kinda miss Barksdale and my '02 Z. Have a good one.

I'm not stationed there, but I did put in for a bop, and Barksdale was one of my choices (try to get closer to home). I'm stationed at no hope Pope in NC. I do pass by there on the way driving home from time to time. How is it there?

barksdale is acually not that bad of a place in my opinion. theres alot to do here (if you like the outdoors). thats prob. the only reason i like it. alot of people complain about how bad it is here, but lets face it we've all been to worse. lol especially you "no hope pope". sorry
