board yea i just found out an hour ago that i have to go in front of a board tomorrow morning for airman of the month in full service dress. anyone got any tips or pointers? Its my first time in front of a board 
sucks this was such short notice!!!!

I've sat on those boards a few times. Just go in, report to the board. Sit at attention. They will probably ask you a few questions about yourself and then a few questions out of the PDG. If you don't know the answer there are 2 ways to go. You can baffle them with bullshit, or state that you don't know the answer and you'll get back to them. Either way, let us know how it went

that sucks man. hopefully they dont ask me questions i dont know the answer too. they are asking me 5 questions. im not gonna lie im a little nervous. i doubt ill get it, im competing against a lot of other ppl. hopefully i dont get owned!

Not sure how your boards are ran but read up on current events in the news. Being that elections are coming up they might ask you a question on that topic.
Triple check your service dress and especially the low quarters. Make sure they arent dusty and shiny even on the lower parts. When ya sit down pull the front of your coat as you sit in the seat so it does not bunch up. Even if ya cant talk the talk at least you will look professional =)

I went in front of a board for BTZ. uggh. Most nerve racking experience of my short career so far. Oooh.. and explaining to my group commander why I wasn't wearing safety glasses while using chemical stripper

yea but no facing movements. and i had an awkward moment cause this platinum blonde a1c that lives right above me was on the board! crazy ****. i dont see why an a1c was on the damn bored. also 1 tech, 1 master.

An A1C on a board? WRONG! An AOM board must include at least one SNCO and 2 NCOs. Airmen cannot sit on a board that judges their peers. Unless she was there to take notes, this board should have never met. Is your Sq. THAT short of NCOs?
Anyho, hope you did well. I sat on both ends of many board in my career, and it is funny to see how nervous some folks get. I seen one guy start to take his shirt off because he was a wreck and did not know what he was doing. I seen one "lady' in a skirt with no panties sit like a catcher behind home plate
. Did it help? It helped the morale of the board, but she didn't win the board.....

Since when do A1C's sit on an AMN of QTR board??
I have put in for AMN of the QTR twice and both times it was just package only. I would of mopped the floor if I would of had the board part. Stupid JAG bitches always win...
