Yeah I was drunk when I posted that and hadn't fully comprehended the new GI Bill, I just figured we got an increase in the monthly payment. Getting BAH is almost what I would have been pulling monthly from the old GI bill, and I'll probably be pocketing that anyways since my wife and I will be working full time jobs to pay for everything. Either way, I'm out after my AD enlistment heh...

I was looking into federal jobs, as that is one direction that I wouldn't mind going. The money isn't too bad, and I have about 4 total jobs that I am also looking into.

I think that I am going to just say screw it and get out, I am sick of the crap that we have to deal with, but mostly the people. I have done my time and done my time in, and my time deployed.
Like i said you can get out and if you don't like it you can go back in. You actually get paid less after they get done ******* you every way they can. I drive a '02 vert T/A red with a 4" VFN hood cant miss me. see you in August.

I'm out too..go on terminal in December, then off to Iraq for a year as a contractor. As long as you have a degree or higly employable trade you'll be fine. Just attend all the pre-seperation stuff you can and pull chocks.

sounds good.... in my sig where it says much, much more in the works... I mean it

I am pretty set on getting out, although 61k tax free would really help me start the business that I have been thinking of for the last few years.

Money is a object and can be found anywhere if you try hard enough. You are in the wing so money can be found in civilian contracting jobs. 180k a year tax free for me to go to the sand for a year.

If the T/A can's take you i may bring out the '96 or "02 Camaro when i get it finished...

damn sounds good, you doing the work yourself?

My '96 is under the knife 360 8.5-1 single front mount, fmic, meth, big stall, and a 12" out back, I'm looking for 9's. That one is going on a diet too.

The T/A is going to be a forged nitrous motor with a 250-300 progressive shot.

all but the paint body and electrical. How big is the turbo for the 96? I was very close to going forged with a **** ton of nitrous for the frc, just don't want bottles. Sounds good, my roommate out here is looking for 4th gen ta right now, and we already have a kytp 78mm kit, and supporting mods on order for his buildup when we get back this winter sometime.

August 4th this year was supposed to be my eaos, but I extended to June, 2009 for the orders I am currently under, and I have to extend for orders again till January, 2010 for my new orders. (HSC-85 San Diego, CA)

I am still undecided, as I am still considering officer programs. I am sure I will stay in for a little while.
