I saw a shirt the other day from "Tapout" that had E7 rank with the tapout logo in the center of the rank and it had a bunch of other military crap on it. Its the new fad I guess.

Not only is it gay, but it's insulting. Do these guys think they're badasses or something because they can wear NCO rank that they bought from walmart? I swear, next the fashion is gonna be for people to start wearing medals that they never earned along with the fake stripes that they never earned.

Well yeah, and it just so happens that there are no less than three hundred walmarts in a 5 mile vicinity of a military base.

I was watching smash lab the other night when they were trying to bomb proof a plane, and the one dude had a blue button up shirt with AF TSgt stripes on. What is the world coming too? To mimic someone is flattery but I find that **** kinda insulting, since there are plenty of guys that had to earn those and these dicks are just buying it.
I feel the same way. I get offended and im still in DEP

well Macys and LLCOOLJ have a line for the big red one with rank and such but I think their intentions are a little more honorable

I still think the designers should stay away from using military rank and insignias as a fashion statement.

They can make whatever designs they want to, I could care less if it imitates rank, its no big deal. We can just make fun of it and call it

Wearing and old field jacket or goretex to stay warm is one thing. But just walking around with a BDU top on for no reason is a cry for attention if you ask me.
Your opinion dude.. I see nothing wrong with it. No rank or insignia's either, I wear it over a tshirt or whatever when it's a little chilly out... I just like wearing the top now and then. I am no where near a military base(had no desire to be around one), when I got out, I got as far away as I could.. Cry for attention, hardly..lol

my neighbor is a retired MSgt and he uses his old BDU tops(no rank/tapes/badges) during the winter time to do his yard work. i don't think he is looking for attention.

Neither. When you flaunt them in public, that's where people on here are seeing a problem, or having a problem with it. However, you want to look at it.
