How dare you post that with such little detail!!!

I have PRC heads, an MS4 cam, ported FAST 92 with the same PTM throttle body. Why doesn't my car run 9s?

Because your car doesn't have full suspension, drag trans geared right for a 1/4 and weigh less than 3k lbs maybe?

The car is the same old shop car we have had for 4+ years now. It has just been sitting in the back covered in dust until about 3 weeks ago when we got the idea to take the stock bottom-end heads/cam record at the LSX Shootout in Memphis. We had the short-block already put together from the engine dyno testing done earlier in the month so we started over-nighting parts here and there to get the car back together.

The engine combo is a stock LS1 short-block (Stock crank, rods, and pistons) with a MS4 camshaft and the new PRC 215cc Casting cylinder heads supported by your basic bolt on components. (Ported FAST 92, LT Headers, TSP 100mm MAF, etc.) As for suspension, it too is all off-the-shelf components. Lighter and stronger tubular components replacing the stock pieces. We didn't really do any cutting on the car at all. The only thing cut was the area infront of the passenger front tire where we had a fuel cell mounted but was moved back to the rear of the car. Other than that, the only lightening was lexan front and rear windows and pulling interior and replacing with lightweight carpet and a Kirkey seat. The factory dash was used as well. Again, it was really nothing too special and everything can be bought and installed.

We owe a big thanks to MadMan and Co. for helping us tune the suspension to get the car to leave properly. Their last minute help with installing the limiters and "Save Your ***" bars at the track were put to good use. (We definitely tested the bars on friday!) Thanks again guys!

Let me know if you have any other questions!

Thanks!
Jon

Yes sir! The car is all BMR suspension components. I would definitely say the suspension was getting a workout while carrying the car to a best 60 ft. of the weekend at 1.27!

Thanks for the help Lee. We definitely appreciate it!
