Fyrarms- you never know what will happen this was our first even, SW has us beat in the amount of mile passes made We will get there, trust me. It took them 15 years to go 241, we will surpass that in 3 years
It took em 2 passes it's first time out to run 241mph. Until Autobanh 2 years ago nobody ran a high power supra at the mile. Now supra's hold the top 2 or 3 fastest mph's.

Not quite---"nutswingers" don't actually own the car in question...

All in good fun, homey. Car forums wouldn't be fun if nobody stirred the pot a tad.

I have actually owned 6 different F-bodies myself...

You shouldn't have used all the gears. I believe C/D actually skipped second gear to get the best time in the Lingenfelter Vette. I remember reading on a few occasions how they had to skip a gear to get the fastest time in high horsepower cars.

kapsz28 I think that was do to traction issues, once Lg's car was moving along traction didn't seem to be a big issue.

Of course it was because of traction. I don't remember if C/D ever did this for a mile long test, but I know that have done it for the best 1/4 mile runs. Just a suggestion as something to try. First and second didn't sound like there was a lot of traction. Although I just watched the Lingenfelter run where they tested their own car and they did use all the gears.

Either way, it is amazing. I can only imagine what the acceleration feels like. That is my biggest problem. It's not how fast you go, it's how fast you get there. There is nothing more exciting than accelerating hard.
