Me and my buddy. He had bolt ons and tuned made 336 to the wheels. I made 460 with upper only to the tires....traction was an issue but "if" those cobras were in the 500 range and "if" your buddies TA was only 350 they would have put his lights out....they would have ran him down pretty fast. 500hp ported cobra's will trap around 119-124 on average.

were at 8000 ft. A ported cobra will usually trap between 115-118. The altitude affects these cars just as much if not more than an NA car

We all know that....I was just making sure people aren't going out with 350hp F-bodies thinking that they will have the same outcome

I'd hate to see how much torque you'd lose if you went heads/cam........

Good point. Those are pretty freakish torque numbers for those mods.. But anyways i know this guy to and like Sinister said. You can clearly see the black cobra spinnin and trying to reel him in after. The yellow one just has a slow driver and doesn't have a chance. Drtybrd just hooked and rowed it in to a victory. Legit to the bone!

I've seen some pretty unbelieveable things happen on the street. I've been diehard LT1 since '93 and have seen a near stock LS1 beat a buddies h/c LT1 that made 375 rwhp. That LT1 was stalled auto and the LS1 was 6 speed and it was from a 20 roll. I don't like roll racing an LS1. That's optimal hp range for them. I always try to negotiate a dig if running an LS1 and it makes the playing field alot better. But, for the sake of this arguement, I found a vid of LS1 vs cobra:
