Default Time to move on

I sold my Z28 a couple months back with the intention of getting into a older MOPAR.
I had enough of dealing with the inherent weaknesses on the Camaro and it was costing me WAY more then I wanted.
At least with the new car I can go to a junk yard and get parts for 1/4 the cost.
Plus its cheaper to turbo or supercharge.

I went from this.

To this.

Its a 1971 Dodge Dart Swinger.
318 with a 904 torqueflight and an 8 3/4 rear.

Plans for right now is to put an MP T70 on it and see what the 318 will take.
Also fixing the few rust issues on the fender and quarter, remove the vinyl top, paint it Sassy grass, and redo the interior.
Should be a quick little 3000lb car when I get done.

Its been a fun experience and I learned a lot while I was hear.
But since I have moved to the dark side I don't see myself needing the visit here much anymore. Maybe run into a few of you on the street sometime.

hahaha. That is about what I expected.

I got tired of fixing the car any time I took it out and did some spirited driving.
It turned into one of those vehicles that I didn't really care to drive anymore.

Going back to something that I can flog the hell out of and not worry about it.
Some of you do that now with your cars. Mine was one that I couldn't do that to.

Thats weird. You mustve had a lemon LS1 car.

I really hope you're not in for a rude awakening when you start 'flogging' that car. It'll definitely feel slow as **** compared to your previous.

The motor was strong as hell, that wouldn't even flinch. The tranny and rear were the continual issues.

The 318 is only staying in there until the FI setup is figured out then i will put a built 360 in.

Anything can be made fast and handle with enough money.
