Default SOMe SS pictures with Nikon P80

I went out and fooled around with the new camera today. Tried some different lighting to push the camera a little bit. Still learning how to use different options like shutter speed, aperture, exposure, and so on. All these pictures were taken in manual mode using both auto focus and aperture priority. Enjoy!

Some really good settings there. Carefull when the background is heavily backlit. May have to change the light meetering. Looking good though. I love the color Nikons bring out.

Is the billet grill and emblem new, or do you just not drive the car much? Only reason I ask is because my emblem looks beat all to hell after a few years...

Clean car for sure. Keep up the good work. Nice shots too.

Thanks for making me feel horrible about how my paint looks by comparison.

The grille I've had for about 3 years, had it powdercoated and I touch up rock chips with a black paint pen. I bought it off of ebay for about 40 bucks. The SS emblem I put on about a year ago, and before that I had a blue bowtie off a '69 Chevelle (see sig). And MikeG, don't feel too bad. You know how SOM looks like a different color in every type of light!

I have them in a larger resolution, up to 3648x2736. I just down-sized them for the forum.
