Mercedes AMGs at the staging light
Love seeing expensive cars driven the way they should be driven. If I had to define a German muscle car, it would be a Mercedes AMG.
Not my shots (I wish). I think the pictures were shot with a Canon 5D MKII.

This guy ran 11.46 @ 122.4. Full weight at around 4200 lbs. Modified of course.
CLK BS ran 11 seconds flat with a small shot of juice. Yes, there are guys out there spraying their $130k Mercedes.

Great pics! Thanks for posting.
I was at the Supercar Nationals/Viper Event that happens annually down here in FL, I've gone for the past 3 years now. This recent event had a few AMG's there. They were hanging around in the 11's all day and sounded great.
As for touching on the topic of guys spraying there AMG's, it is popular. The amazing thing is, is that you do not have to tune these things to compensate for the nitrous. The computer pulls/adds timing fuel etc.. as the MAF detects it. Dry shot of course. There is a guy down here with a E 55 AMG that went 10.5x's @130mph+. Geman engineering at its finest prevails again and as usual.
I've got a great deal of respect for Mercedes. I daily drive a 99 ML320 (W163 chasis). It has never skipped a beat, it has 186K+ trouble free miles. The only issue it had was the MAF has to be repleaced at 100K, mine took a crap at 130K. I beat the hell out of it, it shifts smooth, doesnt burn any oil. It sees mud from job sites daily, its never gotten stuck. I've talked to other guys with these cars and you get the same stories that I'am telling you now (and possilby boring you with).
