In a sence he did get beat, but not really. Who knows what the outcome would have been if he would have hooked and went str8.

Nuntheless nice evo.

when I went 10.41@135 on 93 octane at 32psi I was on the HTA 35R with a .63 turbine housing. I changed to the slightly bigger HTA 86, it still has the same 35R center section but instead of a 59mm billet compressor wheel it has a 62mm wheel. Also the turbine wheel and the housing are bigger. The housing went from a .62 to .82 to reduce that choke point in anticipation of running 40psi+ (still with me?) On pump gas the previous best was 617 and on the new turbo 633, not a big increase and it's slightly laggier by 300 rpm or so. However, it's going to be able to stretch it's legs at high boost. I stopped at 40psi on race gas with 701awhp because 1) my EBC only goes up to 43psi (3 bar pressure sensor) and 2) I ran out of q16. I still haven't bumped up the timing, it's on the dismal pump gas timing map, so there may be a little more in it. The knock sensor isn't picking up anything worth mentioning so that's a good sign. My goal is to go high 9's on the race gas tune. I hold the world record for the stock ecu/mas at 10.41 but I think carrying it with me into the 9's in full street trim daily driver mode would be cool.

Good turbo set-up! Im also running a 35r on my 2g DSM. With your power level have you thought of going with something a little bit bigger like a 37r or maybe a 42r? Are you running big injectors also? and have you run e85 on it yet?

Love the car man, Allways look forward to watching new videos from ya

I'm going to keep this turbo for awhile, the 42R is way too laggy for my taste and my goals aren't that lofty anyway.

it's on 1000cc PTE injectors (95lb roughly) and twin walbro fuel pumps

no e85 here

How about racing on a frozen lake next time.... That car would blow by you in a wheelie on a track.

wgaf, it's street racing...what it can do on the track doesn't matter. Keep in mind, he called me out because he thought he was going to murder the EVO

No he wasn't. 99z28 is as narrow minded brand loyal GM fanboy as you can get and he shows it in almost every post of his.

******* sick EVO. I don't think that Chevelle could hook anywhere on a dragstrip
