Import V6s sound better than domestic V6s hands down (and the inline-6s),

Personally I like the Nissan VQ series for V6s, and the Supra Inline-6 sounds great as well. When it comes to the 3800 V8 and Ford 3.8/4.2, everytime I hear one with an aftermarket dual exhaust system, I cringe. And please correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the dumdumdumdumdum engine basically a Mitsubishi design, using a Mitsubishi turbocharger? It's badged as a Dodge, but that car has some major DSM/Mitsubishi roots.

It's not "imports." I can't stand when people say that. You don't like the sound that 4-cylinder cars make. A Cavalier/Cobalt/Neon/Focus isn't going to sound any better. Import V6s sound better than domestic V6s hands down (and the inline-6s), and in case people have forgotten there are import V8s too. Where a car is made has nothing to do with the sound it makes.

i've never heard of a good sounding import V6 before...

Bet you didn't know that it was also used in the Ferrari 599 Fiorano. It's a very good system made by Delphi. But my point was that it's flawed logic to claim to the dumdumdumdumdum as the best sounding domestic 4cyl, when it uses what basically amounts to a Mitsubishi engine and turbocharger.

Yes I know that, and the zr1 uses carbon cermamic brakes from a ferrari. But the engine is in a domestic car, so what else would you call it? So pretty much going by what your saying, your saying that ferraris and audis should not advertise saying euro suspension tunning when its actually domestic suspension tuning? Come on, your not that ignorant.

not my cup of tea....but still a bad **** none-the-less.... so now to see that thing run at 700 on the street and not just on a dyno.
cause if you have it and don't use it....why the hell did you build it.

On the topic of sound, I'd say the only 4 cylinders I think sound good are the srt neon and any wrx/Sti. Those boxer motors sound sexy with a good aftermarket exhaust.
