You could have made your point in a much better way. Your opinion was not very tactful and not very accurate. This wasn't about what car's sounded like. it was just a Fast Z28 Vs an Evo and other cars. It looked like a fun day they had. Mellon didn't talk crap about the Z28 or any car.

The point that people turned it into a V6 vs V8 is because you turned it from a fast car to whos car sounds best but you did it with MUCHO rudeness.

^^ well said, truth be told, I like all things fast! On my own forum www.racevideoforums.com we've got all brands in there so we do quite a bit of playful ribbing, but at the end of the day we'll meet up and have some beers.

When I post videos on other forums I typically don't say anything about the video because it speaks for itself. I know people are proud of their platforms and don't appreciate some smartass trying to rub it in if their car of choice happened to lose. I'll just sit back and answer questions if asked and correct misinformation whenever it presents itself. Hopefully I'll learn more about other platforms and share my knowledge to bring others up to speed on my platform as well.

However, if someone attacks me with a smartass comment be fully prepared to get one back, but just know it's all in good fun.

Ok, I will admit I was a little rude. And I will apologize to mellon for it and bashing his car. Its a quick car. I don't particularly like it, but it is pretty nice in some ways. I will most likely continue to watch your videos because you are one of the few people on here that can post a race video of higher quality than at night and shaking around all over the place. Can we all get along? I'll rethink my opinions next time before I shout them.

thanks man, It's just a matter of time and one of these local guys will wear me out I'm sure. A few of them have double the whp so they just need to dial it in for the street to make it happen.

Is this true? The new Evos aren't as good as the older ones? I'm hearing that the turbo 's are much better on the other models.

The older ones were using the proven 4g63 which has years of R&D for aftermarket parts. I'm sure given enough time, the 4b11t in the new Evo X will be pushed just as far.

And to let you both know, my V6 may not be fast or awesome. Ok, its slow, but I still love it. And some people may not be able to afford the insurance or price tag of an ls1. It makes a great daily for me and serves me well. So, for the needs I have and the situation, I say a V6 camaro is perfect. It looks good, not too expensive, cheap insurance, and sips gas. Who wouldn't love the thing for a daily? I knew when I got the v6 that it wasn't for going fast. So, get off my case.

Well, that issue has been settled for a while now. Nice ride, though.

LOL says the guy getting ready to put skinnies on his v6 camaro with a whopping 150 rwhp.. my cars nitrous hit puts more to the wheels then your whole motor does.. no offense

lol, dude are you blind?
what i meant was with the disadvantage he was facing i thought he put on a pretty good race... he was well underpowered, and was rwd vs awd, and yes you were pulling hard but i was just saying that h did a good job with what he was working with and i thought it would have been a worse result than it ended up being but after watching the video again and listening to your shifts, i relize that you were being a little sluggish because you could be with a lead like that

Would you guys PLEASE read the thread before posting. The issue is resolved, so stop taking jabs at me. This thread has nothing to do with my car.
Skinnies are not for power, they are for weight reduction; therefore helping any car they are put on. And my engine puts out 155 hp, not my motor. Thank you all.
