Yeah, it may actually be running slower than the stock cam right now. Get it tuned, it'll back a big difference.

Streetassasin: One thing to keep in mind, is that you're in Texas and we're in Nebraska. Elevation difference there. Gears and limiter are probably hurting you the most. Your converter should work pretty well with that cam, and yes tuning will help, but the car should run fairly well untuned too, you're just not getting in to the RPM band before hitting the limiter, plus you don't have the gear to get you there quick enough anyway. Just my honest opinion.

Did you degree the cam when it was in the car to verify it was ground properly? What valve events did you degree it at? For reference here is my video with the mods in my sig and an LS1 intake, but I do have hptuners and spent a lot of time on it.

To be honest i had planned on degreeing the cam when i installed it but i didn't becuase the degree kit wasn't here yet and i was excited to get it finished and didn't wanna wait. I might be tearing back into the car when i get my degree kit. The cam card says it was ground properly but doesn't mean much from what i understand see how the tune goes, have to wait 2-3 weeks to get my tune done! My tuner is out of town....

Your car is alot faster than mine.... and according to the mods in your sig mine should actually be faster.... What do you run in the 1/4?

I've only ran my car down the track twice on street tires but I ran a 13.4 at 110 mph. You will gain a lot from you tune, I know I did even with a mostly stock car. You really should verify your cam is installed correctly. If it was installed retarded at all your whole rpm range will be shifted up a lot higher than it should be. Seeing how your shift points are still at the factory setting, and your cam could be installed a couple of degrees retarded, you will never know whats really going on. I know we all get excited for our new mods but you really should verify your valve events because it is very important. Just make sure you install it at a 110 ICL and verify that your intake valve closes around 43 degrees ABDC. With a 43.5 IVC event you should be making peak hp @ 6400 rpm. Go get the thing tuned and atleast verify your cam is installed properly, you should notice a pretty big difference

Doesn't anyone else think he's gotta bump up those shift points. I guess that's part of the tune so...get a tune.

You better get that oil pressure taken care of or your going to have a bigger problem then it not pulling like it should. I would check that o-ring to see if it is pinched or not.

I think you just need to get everything finished up. Get a good tune, of course, and some drag radials and you'll be flyin'.

For comparison here is mine with bolt ons, converter, and nittos. I did 303rwhp unlocked on a mustang dyno. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KuWK7UxwZ8Q

i would imagine that the gear and needing a tune is the biggest problem. Like someone else said the car is hitting the limiter before it really gets a chance to pull.
