Default Pics of my SS with Nitto 315's/17x9.5 wheel combo

I used to run ProStars but wanted a new look for this year. I swapped my ProStars for a set of 17x11/17x9.5 TT2's, and also acquired a spare pair of 17x9.5's to put Nittos on, in the hopes that they would hook...at least a little.

I have 17x11 TT2's with 315/35/17 Sumitomos for everyday use on the rear, and 275/40/17 Sumitomos on 17x9.5's, for the front. My spares are 17x9.5 TT2's with Nitto 315/35/17 Drag Radials on them...Suspension is cut (1 coil) 1le front springs and hose modded rear springs with Bilstein HD shocks/struts.

Nitto 315/35/17 Drag Radials, Sumitomo 275/40/17's all on 17x9.5" TT2's:

and the 17x11-315/35/17, 17x9.5-275/40/17 Sumitomo combo (with Stranos at the time)

Thanks, I was a little worried the Nittos would "look" too narrow, but from most angles, the untrained eye can't tell much difference...which is what I hoped for.

Looking good Bob! I really expected them to "bulge" more, but they are Nittos

YOU'RE GOING TO DIE! The tires are way too big for that wheel, they will pop off the bead the second you take a turn. It's extremely dangerous. That wheel is not approved for that tire, and threads like this will not be tolerated!!!!!

j/k Car looks good. But don't let the tire **** catch this or he will delete it.

Thanks. The plan is to get new 315/35 Mickey Thompson Drag Radials for the 17x11's as soon as either (a) the Nittos wear out, or (b) I get disgusted trying to hook with them. (I'm betting on B)
