I had fun with the speedo like that when I went to 4.10s from 3.42s before I had the speedo updated to the new rear end ratio. Thats all it is boys

He is probably really runnin the car but set his speedometer to have larger tires there for speeo will fly like that. Handheld programmers or tuning can set diffrent tire or gear ratio for speedometers to run fast like that. When he is hittin 140-150 he is really doin maybe 60-80 mph on hwy.

im not gonna say the car doesnt have an ls7 and make the power stated, but that vid is fake. Ive rode and drove a handfull of cars with more power, bs on the "serious driving skills". skill has nothing to do when your wot in second gear in a car making over 500rwhp. My boys c6z breaks the tires loose at the top of first, second, and third on a cool night, and the car is making 570 wheel. And yes its on good tires, 345 invos. where was the tire spin in 1st? and the other bs, no road noise. Im saying its on a dyno w/o load.

*The car pulls EXACTLY the same, THE WHOLE TIME...

How do you guys know he doesnt have a good suspension setup with good slicks? You all seem to be saying fake and that hears gears are messed up but his shift points are exact with 3.42 gears ******* LOOK instead of saying NOPE HIS GEARS ARE DIFFERENT IT MESSED HIS SPEEDO.. everything hes shifting at is exact with 3.42s. It is odd about the tire chirps and **** not being there but idk and like said before at least 50% of the people on this forum including me have been to 150 and there isnt that much wind noise idk what you guys are talking about. My buddys camaro has wind noise idk if its a sealant thing or what on the windows, after around 130 for me you cant hear the wind over the exhaust anyways so why would you hear wind in a video? You guys rag on it to much, if it has the power it says, and its built right, it is possible that its real.

Is it possible the car was sitting on jackstands? I know it's crazy but I've did it during my initial engine breakin... only to 90mph though !

Looking at it again, it can't be real.

How can a car be accelerating at the same rate at 130mph as it is at 30mph. Clearly there is no wind resistance (ie dyno).

I'd call fake.. just because if you look at the rate it's moving at even 150mph, it looks like this car would probably hit well over 200mph. I don't see it happening in a 4th gen without 800+rwhp.

are you kidding? theres plenty of wind noise at 150 and 160+ sounds like your in a jet. my seals are tight and my exhaust is loud especially at close to 6000rpm but it doesnt come close to drowning out the wind noise at those speeds.
+1 for the car not having a load on it

I can't hear any wind noise except the normal outside car wind when going that fast. If my cutout was closed when doing so then yea maybe I would but when its open and im doing that all I could hear is the exhaust or music. You sure your seals arent having trouble?

Im with the others on traction and wind noise. Also seemed like the car slowed down really really fast.

Seriously? You think people dont do it? I did 145+ last night in another members 02 Z28. Ive burried the 155 speedo in his 98 z28 quite a few times. Around here theres tons of long straight roads with no one else on them for miles.

And the car sure as **** isnt that quiet inside at those speeds.

You do realize that if the rear is changed to 410's and the speedo is not updated the speed and shift points "on tach" will read the same just you will be reading higher "on speedo" than you are actually moving.
If the 2nd video is posted first there would have been less controversy. alot more tire spinning and wind noise there. why might that be? Thing still gets there pretty quick.
