C6 Z06 vs C6 ZR1 vs HKS GT570 GTR (MUST SEE)
#41
Yes it is using stock turbos. I suggest you do research before making comments on something you know nothing about. It has the HKS 570 Kit!
With the Cobb Access Port alone, you can see nearly 100 additional hp. Secondly, the GTR has no upgraded intercooler, only intercooler piping. Third, GTR's are trapping nearly 130mph with simple boltons.

this one is making 600awhp!! so a little more than nearly 100hp and is that a mustang dyno??

Now, you want to talk "simple" bolt ons, here's a ZR1 with an intake, tune and pulley (intercooler upgrades) WITH COMPLETELY STOCK EXHAUST trapping 136mph in less than ideal conditions:

he's got them on at the beginning of every race, he's a homo and apparently needs to make it even more apparent that he's doing something illegal by signaling it to everyone. but he's not doing it because he's acting like he won the races.
i think the vettes should get hks turbos

Not WINNER lights. Damn guys u know its a good idea but everyone does
the exact same thing in big cities with less capable machines. (i.e. ss, rustang, old puprs, hatches) and dont have the sense to put on the cautions to give a heads up that Im coming up on you fast. I used to do it.
All three of those guys should be beaten and have their cars crushed. ******' 180+mph passing cars that are going 1/3 their speed and missing them by inches in some cases? **** you, *******. If someone did that next to me with my family in the car and I was able to get my hands on them, I'd make sure their engine wouldn't run again..
Does it make that big of a difference if its a 16 yr old chick flying pass u at 95 in a 50 in a suv or a guy passing flat out by u with his multi million $ car.
Get real man sorry it pisses you off but damn find some perspective.
Figured you would with the net but apparently it worked bassakwards for you.

I didn't see that. I'll have to look at home but I don't remember seeing skinnies.
Here's an update though:
"The Lingenfelter Track Rental Day at Muncie Dragway produced a new fastest time for the Lingenfelter 2009 ZR1 Corvette. This Lingenfelter ZR1 has the latest version of our second level of supercharger upgrades and produces an impressive 739 RWHP & 720 RWTQ. The Lingenfelter supercharger upgrades included our pulley upgrade, air intake modifications, intercooler improvements and tuning. This was run with stock exhaust manifolds and factory cat back exhaust with Mild to Wild Switch. "
ZR1 + pulley, intercooler, intake & tune = 740rwhp & 10.0x @ 141.x in the 1/4 mile.
Where is your Godzilla now?"

Don't be the token Ricer in the crowd. They are both incredible cars that given the right mods will outperform most cars. This isn't a my car is greater than your car thread it's check out how much improvement can be had on a basic GTR kit.

Which is all FAR from simple "bolt ons" (The HKS 570 kit). Regardless, the GTR with these listed mods are QUICK.

But yet the ZR1 in the videos shown was BONE STOCK and putting a hurting on that 600+ hp GTR. Pretty impressive, isn't it?

Modifications quoted from Lingenfelter:
"The modifications so far are the result of our C6 ZR1 development work and included the following:
Stock LS9 cylinder heads & short block
Stock LS9 exhaust manifolds and cat back exhaust system
- LPE 8.5” diameter harmonic balancer – 11 rib
- LPE 2.60” diameter supercharger pulley – 11 rib
- Lingenfelter S&B air filter
- 4” diameter air intake tube with mass air sensor
- Ported stock throttle body
- Intercooler supercharger inlet modifications
- Double capacity intercooler heat exchanger
- Larger capacity intercooler reservoir system
- Mickey Thompson ET Street Radials P345/35R18 rear
- M&H Racemaster P185/50R18 front
- CCW Aluminum wheels
.....this is more extensive than the GTR package.

Be fair... That's really more extensive to you? It's the same ****... Both cars just have more boost basically and a tune... lol, porting the TB... lol, come on.
It's on the entire bone stock exhaust, lol.
The HKS and LPE cars are BOTH simply bolt on cars dude... That's it.

But yeah, the HKS GTR and the Lingenfelter ZR1 are on the stock turbos and on the stock blower respectively.

lol, no no no 25psi...

Gimme a ******* break dude... Neither of these cars has extensive mods, man... Stop trying to make it seem like the ZR-1 has ANYTHING other than what the GTR has... More boost, tune, and light tweaks... They are perfectly comparable, the GTR and ZR-1 in this thread... They are both bolt-on FI cars, and the ZR-1 blows it out of the water by a large margin... Hell, the stock ZR-1 keeps up with it. Don't get carried away.
Again, neither has anything extensive... That's it.

Wasn't sure if you were suggesting replacing the TVS2300 with something bigger and better.

25psi the three of us are usually the ones standing up for imports and the like against fan-boys who are biased against them just due to where they came from, sometimes though as in this case it's all fair and square. More or less Equal mods and they show equal improvements. None of what's been determined undermines either car.
