I think it's easiest to see around minute 1:40. Kinda surprising if they are in fact skinnies because if they are they chopped and shortened some stock ZR1 wheels to do it!

Don't be the token Ricer in the crowd. They are both incredible cars that given the right mods will outperform most cars. This isn't a my car is greater than your car thread it's check out how much improvement can be had on a basic GTR kit.

It's on the entire bone stock exhaust, lol.

The HKS and LPE cars are BOTH simply bolt on cars dude... That's it.

 

The GTR is still on stock turbos.
A handful of tuners are still struggling to build a turbo upgrade for the GTR.
I think Hennessey just made one...

But yeah, the HKS GTR and the Lingenfelter ZR1 are on the stock turbos and on the stock blower respectively.

 

I don't think there's much to upgrade on a TVS2300. That's pretty much top of the line really.

that is incorrect. The speedo is 300km/h or 200 mph.. you can change it on the fly to whatever system you want to use

 

The blower, yes... Its boost setting/pulley should definitely be upgraded.

 

The GTR is still using stock side mount intercoolers, not upgraded like the ZR1.

 

The ZR-1 is on the entire bone stock exhaust system from front to back, not with deleted cats like the GTR, which you should know makes a huge difference for a turbo car...

Gimme a ******* break dude... Neither of these cars has extensive mods, man... Stop trying to make it seem like the ZR-1 has ANYTHING other than what the GTR has... More boost, tune, and light tweaks... They are perfectly comparable, the GTR and ZR-1 in this thread... They are both bolt-on FI cars, and the ZR-1 blows it out of the water by a large margin... Hell, the stock ZR-1 keeps up with it. Don't get carried away.

Again, neither has anything extensive... That's it.

25psi the three of us are usually the ones standing up for imports and the like against fan-boys who are biased against them just due to where they came from, sometimes though as in this case it's all fair and square. More or less Equal mods and they show equal improvements. None of what's been determined undermines either car.

 

all cars were badass...

modded or not the gtr is still a nice car..

but ill still stick with my american muscle on that one tho.

 

Rarely you see an LS7'd Z06 get it's *** handed to it, however, I think it hung pretty well for what it is. I'd like to see one cammed and bolted in the same race.
