Default Embarrassing, Glad this was at night!!!

It's about 2:30am, I'm cruising the whole time around the city. I get on to I-16... cruising.... People riding all on my tail... I control myself. I get onto I-95... here comes this wack *** RT-Charger... I'm about to rape this slow *** car.. thats what i think... Man!! He's reving up at me, I drop gear and play with the throttle, We hit it. As soon as i hit the gas i start pulling. I get to 80 and my ******* t-top flies straight of my damn car... damn.. Did I go back for it? Not after the 18 wheeler behind me wiped its feet with it... Off to the classifieds before another rain storm comes.

yep. i'd much rather had lost that race if it meant i could keep my t top. Of course that loss would have to be due to a missed shift...

That happend to me 3 weeks after I got my car. I already had a firebird v6 for a year so I was familiar with t-tops. Both of mine flew out. One of them flipped over and hit my rear windshield and the ttop shattered into pieces and scratched my paint on my spoiler all up. I actually got my insurance to pay for everything. Talk to your insurance about it.

I could have gotten killed when my buddy's TA top flew off. I was following him doing about 90 when his driver side top took off into the air and smashed the ground right in front of my car. Close call!

No I mean just pull the lever. You pretty much have to have the windows down or the doors open to put them back on so the lever takes like 1 sec longer to turn LOL.
