Default Finished my LS2 Trans Am! Video and dyno numbers inside

I finally got my LS2 swapped Trans am back on the road, tuned and running great. Went to the dyno today hoping for some better numbers than last year and boy was I pleasantly surprised. The basic rundown of the car is:

Stock LS2 shortblock with ARP rod bolts
ETP 5.3 heads
Patrick G custom cam 235/243 .621/.624 at 110+2
Pacesetter headers to custom ORY with flowmaster merge and 4" cutout
Stock catback
LS6 intake and P&P TB
SS4000

At the time of the dyno the car had 200 miles on the fresh shortblock so it might have a few more ponies when its fully broken in. Its wayyy smoother than my MS3 and has much better drivability and makes loads more hp and torque. The first run is with the cutout closed and the second is open. Let me know what you guys think, I'm currently on cloud 9

Here are a couple of videos of the exhaust and a short WOT run, the first video is with the cutout closed, second is open, and the WOT run is closed.

Solid #'s, the TQ looks good, should wake up the car. Start saving for a rear, you'll need it breaking into 10's

Dyno was done with the converter locked?

congrats!

Congrats on the new setup and great numbers. My LS2 should be done soon and is a very similar build to yous.Your pretty brave locking the converter. Here is what my LU clutch looked like from my Yank 4400 after locking it on the dyno probably 12-15 times over the 5 years I had it in the car.

I would strongly advise against locking ANY brand converter that is not a multi disc at WOT. It's not worth the dyno number.

how much rwhp would a stock ls2 /m6 with just headers/cai and a tune be putting down?? u have down u have an ls6 intake, is that better than the original one?? i have a 00vert v6 with just 60k miles on it and my friend has a wreck yard with a 05 gto with that combo, thinking of doing the swap. i wouldnt be thinking about it except that i have spent a lot of money on the appearance of my vert, and i think it would be the finishing touch.

nice numbers! Amazing difference with the cutout open... how come you don't have a decent catback on there yet?

I would say a bolt on LS2 should put down 350-360 at the tires. The LS6 intake manifold has proven to outflow the stock LS2 unit but its not a huge margin, my motor had no intake so I used mine. As far as the catback goes I have had just about every catback there is and all of them have been a bit too loud for my neighbors. So now I have it as quiet as possible without putting cats back on and when I want it loud I just flip the switch, there is no need for an aftermarket catback
