My old 3rd Gen. 1990 IROC-Z L98 car, 1 of 2415, had it painted Bright Amber Pearl Metallic.

First two pics are before the repaint and the last two show how the color looked red at night/low light

The purple is a factory color "Hawaiian Orchid" It is probably one of the most rare color. The pics def dont do it justice really a beautiful color.

 

Its also the same dark purple metallic on the 95-96 camaros and firebirds .

 

Amen on that ...Kevin, you got let everyone see how great your car looks. I saw it in person for months as it was being built. It's one of the nicest 3rd gens....period.

Still workin on it. Got a 6.0 that i'm making into a 408, t56, trans still deciding on. Till i get the new motor in i'm sprayin the lil 305.

305 5 speed with lots of suspension work, full exhaust, custom tune, new paint/interior.

Not very good pics I promise I'll get some good ones in the spring. As I'm sure you know 89 TTA #82, this is a festival car also. Just picked it up in June, needs paint but other than that is a very sound car. I intend to put in the work to make it mint again.
