383 w/tunnel ram and dual 650's, full roller valvetrain, afr heads. pretty stout motor.

You are doing exactly what I want to do to my car after a very similar incident. I crawled into a big puddle on the way home from work not too long ago. Had no choice. Couldnt back up, couldnt turn around. No one in front of me for me to gauge how deep it was. Motor shut right off, and I didnt try to start it.

When I cleared it of water, and started it...sure enough, had a nice knock to it. SOB. So its dead waiting for me to decided what to do, and Im thinking about going with a 6.0 and using some of my parts on the swap over.

Ide like to clean up my engine bay some more...sort of do things over that I wished I did differently the firs ttime. My engine bay is a lot more simple than the 4th gen bay though, so I dont think Ill have to do quite as much wrok.

Looks good what you have done so far! Hope you enjoy that 6L!!
