The last one I did dyno'd 350 rwhp on 12 psi with a ported 16G, full exhaust and intake. But keep in mind it was an 84 300zx and the engine had around 120K.

First off, Im not ******* Maximas. Like I said in my comments, I respect all cars for their potential. BUT saying that Maximas smoke Camaros all day long and that all he has to do is turbo, exhaust, and cams and i quote"smoke ANYTHING on the highway" is just ignorant. That is my point. Im simply arguing the "Maxima is better than god" attitude. His ego is WAY too inflated, and he is just blowing smoke out of his ***. Out of all the Japanese auto makers, Nissan is by far my favorite. Im actually building a VG30DE for my best friends 86 300zx right now! All I am saying is that guy is WAY too cocky and trying to make them out to be better than they are, and talk **** about Chevy. Its pure ignorance, and I hate uneducated ****-talkers. Money is power, but in the world of who is top dog and who isn't, the Maxima is virtually nowhere near the map. At least an F-body is somewhere on the list. I see his point and frustration with people ******* on the car, but thats not where Im coming from. Hell, I would drive the **** out of that 6 banger. Just understand where im coming from.
And you still have a carbed 2nd gen. See how it works both ways? Its what you wanted just like its what he wanted.
You obviously didn't read the all the comments he had been posting about f-bodies the fast few weeks. Besides, im not going to start a debate on my justification. Its said and done.

He constantly beat his friends 5.0 fox that had full bolton's, UD Pulley, 950 Carb, etc....
Those 300 z's I think were slightly underated from factory is my guess... and I'm not sure if ours had any mods, we just run it the way we got it....
top speed on it was around 164mph before the engine overheated and we melted the wiring harness..... fast car but a money pit...

When our 84 (non-turbo from factory) was just intake/exhaust, it dyno'd 164 rwhp and they were rated with 160 CRANK hp from the factory. And the engine had probably 115K on it by then and had been through hell and back with the previous owner.

and on the second link it says top speed is like 137.... So Either all of their specs are wrong or my dad's had some work in it...possibly a bigger turbo because when that turbo got kicked in, it was like you were launching from a stop again.....
factory rated at 200hp???? well again we were killing 3rd gens and fox's like they were driving like gramma's...so...?? but only 3000 lbs.... My guess is my dads had some mods to it...

Maxima had 2 power adders and the camaro was stock internal, Jesus, if the Maxima wouldnt have won it would be a shame. And, btw, he didnt win by much and the camaro fucked up the launch.

The Z31 was really badass, I just can't get over the way they look.
Also, the Z crowd hassles the Z31 owners as much as they do the young Z33 owners.

Side note...there's a Datsun 280 with the older body style down the road I really wana pick up and do a LS1 or LT1 swap for.....
