Insane 1400hp Tube chassis EVO Drag car
Has anyone else seen this thing. It Definately has the potential to be a 7 second car.

I certainly hope it gets into the 7's...
That thing should be light as hell.
I think they should have given in and gone RWD with it though since they went to a tube chassis in all honesty.

I agree. However there are a few 1G's out there back halfed with 4 links,tube up front,still running the AWD drivetrain. The ones I've seen are still in the process of being built so I don't know how they perform. However there is a tube chassis,tubbed AWD Suburu that runs in the NHRA Sport Compact series. They run larger slicks in the back than in the front. It seems to work well. They made some good numbers when I saw it run.
Oh,also I'm not sure if the EVO makes 1400hp or if thats just the maximum recommended hp limit for the motor. I know the same company (Magnus) builds the motors in Brent Rau's 1,300+WHP 6 second tube chassis RWD Eclipse. So it is very possible it does make 1,400hp.

And then you had John Sheperd's stock unibody awd talon running 7.70's on a methanol set up. So I would hope this tube chassis car could at least match that.
