Screw this, I'm a redneck and I know how to use a computer. But I agree, the bashing has gone on too long. He know's he made a mistake, yet people are still bashing him for it. IMO i think it would be easier to pull the motor from the bottom. Seems like a lot less work to me. We had mine out, new motor on the k-member and back in and running in less than 8 hours. But it does help to have a lift.
